My Spring Break…

I loved my spring break, I got a lot of sleep, seen family, and hung with friends. I wish we had 2 weeks off instead of just 1, but on the bright side summer is coming. So now that spring break is over I have to get back to focusing and try for a few more weeks but before I know it summer will be here.

When I was in elementary….

So everyday I would get out of class from 1st- 6th grade they pulled me out of my ‘ non important subjects for an hour to learn the ‘r ‘ sound.  So therefore I do not know how to write in cursive, nobody taught me because that’s what class I got out of because they found it not important. I’m pretty sure that’s something I need too, like my signature is print and just really close together to make it look cursive…. it kind of sucks but oh well! The other day I was telling my English teacher about it and she thought I was lying so I had to show her then she offered me worksheets to help me but I’m a sophomore in high school with actual hard core classes cursive worksheets are the last thing I need. Another life changing thing that having a speech impediment caused me.

Off topic!!

I’m ready for summer. Honestly I hate school so much I love sleeping, but since I come to school Monday – Friday I always have to wake up early. Then I love hanging out with my friends but during the week we basically have a time limit on how long we can hang out because we go to school 8 hours a day and our curfew is always sooner on school nights. This past weekend made me realize I’m beyond ready for summer.

Funny story!!

So me and my friends are making a rap, but as you guys know I have a speech impediment… so i am going to have to watch what I say, because I can’t go to say something and not even be able to say it. I’m prolly just trippin over it big I still am going to have to watch what I can say in the rap.

Did you know…

The sound ‘ r’ isn’t the only sound someone can have trouble with. In elementary school in my speech class there was a kids who couldn’t say ‘ m’ ‘ th’ ‘s’ ‘n’ ‘w’. There’s all types of speech impediments someone can have, some are also really easy to fix and some are hard. It really just depends honestly.

Over the weekend…

I had a volleyball tournament this weekend and so we were being goofy a lot. So I bought Chex Mix and I was talking about them and I kept calling them ‘ chest ‘ and it was bugging my mom so she kept correcting me. So finally I just look at her and said “ mom I have a speech impediment “ and she said “ raegan there is no r sound in it shut up” me and my friends thought it was hilarious. My mom laughed too so She thought it was funny kind of…

Today I am starving! All I want is subway and for a while that has been all I wanted. So today me and a few of my friends are going after school to eat subway so I’m so ready, and cannot wait till after school! I’m about to be so happy after I get this subway!!! I hope it is good and not nasty because if it is I am going to be very upset.

Lately..

Lately I have been talking really fast so my tongue has been getting stuck so I’m messing up on some of my words more than normal. It’s not hurting me or anything though it’s its just making me have to slow down and actually think of what I am saying. It doesn’t bother me or anything like it doesn’t hurt my feelings I just have to think about it say it again but that’s okay.
